YELLOW TOMATOES
There are many attractive, prolific and tasty varieties of yellow tomatoes for the home gardener to try. From huge yellow beefsteak tomatoes, to tiny yellow micro tomatoes, there are varieties for everyone.
The other bonus is that birds tend to leave them alone, because they are looking for red tomatoes, the red colour being the signal to the birds that the fruit is ripe. Yellow tomatoes are not a favourite for most birds, so why not give them a go?
My favourite yellow tomatoes would be the Tasmanian Yellow Beefsteak and the Yellow Cherry.
