The Yellow Mortgage Lifter tomato is a unique variety distinct from its pink cousin. It produces an abundant amount of large, slightly flattened, smooth beefsteak fruits that are one pound each and ripen to a pleasing canary yellow. These tomatoes have a delicious, rich, sweet flavor with low acidity and very few seeds, making them suitable for a variety of uses from sandwiches and salads to sauces. The vines grow to about 5 feet tall and require good staking to support the heavy fruit load. They continue to produce large quantities of fruit all the way until the first frost, ensuring a bountiful harvest throughout the growing season.
